The Innokin Kroma Nova is the latest in the “Platform” series designed by Phil Busardo and the Vaping Greek.
The Platform series has many types of device including the Coolfire Z80 Zenith 2 kit, Kroma-Z, Kroma-R, Zenith tank, Zenith Pro tank and Ares 2 RTA.
What To Expect From The Innokin Kroma Nova…
The Kroma range have been going for quite a while. Usually they are box mod style devices such as the Kroma 217 and Kroma-A. But there have also been pod kits such as the Kroma-Z.
The Kroma Nova fits into the pod kit category, having 2 main components – the Mod (or battery section) and the Pod (a removable tank section).
The mod features a whopping 3000mAh battery and charging is at a 1.7A rate via the USB Type C port.
This has Variable Wattage – where you can adjust the output. Plus it also has a “Smart” function where the device recognises the coil resistance and automatically suggests the starting power level.
A colour OLED screen is provided, but there is no mention of the size.
On the rear of the mod is the airflow slider. This has a wide range of coil resistances to target MTL and RDL vapers so the airflow allows you to customise the airflow further. We tell you what these terms mean in our Guide To Vape Styles.
The pod is removable and has a slide top fill. The capacity in standard form is 3ml. For those in TPD regulated areas this is reduced to 2ml.
This uses the new range of PZP coils. There are 4 to choose from – 0.4ohm, 0.6ohm, 1ohm and 1.2ohm. Sadly as there are no contents listed, I am not sure which come with the kit.
These coils are designed for easy replacement, you just push them in and pull them out!
You can choose from 8 colours: Mahogany Brown, Saddle Brown, Shadow Black, Vintage Red, Azure Blue, Tiffany Blue, Blush Pink and Snowflake White.
