The second day of the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-Year-Olds In Training Sale under-tack show finished with a new overall fastest worker at an eighth of a mile.

Hip 360, an Into Mischief filly, stopped the clock in :10 seconds flat on Wednesday at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, Md. The bay filly is out of the stakes-placed Kafwain mare Peggy Jane, who is the dam of one winner from two runners.

Consigned by Bobby Dodd, agent, the filly’s extended page includes Canadian champion Dynamic Sky.

The collection of horses working at a quarter-mile also raised the bar at the top, with six horses crossing the line in :21 3/5 seconds.

Hip 213, a Union Rags colt out of the stakes-placed Mineshaft mare Isabelle’s Thunder. He’s from the family of G1 winner Flying Target and G2 winners March Magic and Big Band. Kirkwood Stables consigns the colt, as agent.

Hip 322, an Into Mischief colt out of the winning Latent Heat mare Nihilist, whose first foal to race is a winner. The New York-bred hails from the family of G1 winners Ermine, Fire the Groom, Dowsing, and Sakhee’s Secret. Top Line Sales consigns the colt, as agent.

Hip 334, a Street Sense filly out of the G3-winning Pure Prize mare Now I Know, whose two foals to race are both winners. The gray or roan filly, consigned by All Dreams Equine, agent, is from the family of South African champion Blossoming Fields.

Hip 355, a first-crop Bayern colt out of the stakes-placed Chatain mare Pardomnecomingthru. Consigned by de Meric Sales, agent, the colt is from the family of G1 winner and top sire Storm Cat, as well as G1 winners Crowded House, Ticker Tape, and Reckless Abandon.

Hip 364, a first-crop Palace Malice filly out of the winning Forestry mare Perfectly Natural, who is the dam of three winners from four foals to race. G1 winner Teddy’s Promise and G3 winner General Meeting are on the page of this dark bay or brown filly, consigned by SBM Training and Sales, agent.

Hip 396, an Awesome Again colt who is the first foal out of the winning Super Saver mare Queen Buxley. The New York-bred colt hails from the family of G1 winner Pool Land and G2 winner Broad Dynamite. Pick View consigns the colt, as agent.

The under-tack show concludes Thursday, beginning at 8 a.m. Eastern. The auction will take place May 20-21, with each session starting at 11 a.m. Eastern.
