The 17th installment of the highly anticipated Manila Super Series concluded its first flight of the Main Event featuring a PHP 3,000,000 (~US$ 53,320) guarantee. Held at the PokerStars LIVE hub in Okada Manila, a total of 144 entered across ten levels. Among the participants were WSOP bracelet holder, Mike Takayama, and Singaporean pro, Norbert Koh. Both players bagged up very healthy stacks however overshadowing the pack was Choi Jaeki who stormed to the top after a shocking runner runner flush.
