Saturday’s American Horse Racing Tips
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and I’ve covered all FOURTEEN meetings and picked out my best bets.
THE BELMONT STAKES LOOKS A CRACKER! Can’t wait to see Forte again following that Florida Derby win last time. Tons of Graded racing to come Stateside on Saturday night. My Daily Double pays 5/1!
Smart horse who has a terrific strike rate with 8 wins from his last 9 starts; arrives here chasing a six-timer and likely very hard to beat as long as he gets the gaps when storming home late.
It really is a top quality night Stateside and CODY’S WISH looks set to extend his winning sequence. He is eyeing up a six-timer now and it would take a brave man to oppose. He had nearly 7 lengths to make up last time but powered home to get up and ultimately win impressively. Given his lightly raced profile there could even be more to come yet and his rivals will likely find him too strong in the closing stages. Repo Rocks beat Zandon last time and is progressing well at present so looks the biggest danger.
Exciting colt who blew rivals away to bring up the four-timer on reappearance and then stayed on dourly to win the Florida Derby when last seen; unexposed so open to further improvement yet.
I have always been a big fan of FORTE and I can’t wait to see him here. He is eyeing up a six-timer now and you’d have to love how he got on top to win the Florida Derby when last seen back in April. He was obviously scratched by the vet last month but can quickly gain compensation here. He will be galloping home strongly and I’m struggling to see what beats him. Tapit Trice was going the right way before struggling last time in the Kentucky Derby. If back on song he could be the danger but a bit to prove. National Treasure showed an attitude to die for last time and is another one I expect to get competitive.
