Overwatch League Franchise Seoul Dynasty has officially announced the addition of four new members to its team. They include three players and one coach as Seoul attempts to have a better showing for Season 2.

The new players for Seoul Dynasty are :

  • Choi ‘Michelle‘ Min Hyuk from Lucky Future Zenith
  • Hwang ‘Marve1‘ Min Seo from Lucky Future Zenith
  • Lee ‘Jecse‘ Seung Soo from Element Mystic

Michelle and Marve1 will be on the Tank role for the team while Jecse will be on the Support role. These players are Tier 2 players in their regions and while they have had decent success on their respective teams, we don’t expect them to start for Seoul Dynasty.

Lucky Future Zenith is one of the strongest Chinese Overwatch Contenders team. They won both the seasons of Overwatch Contenders China without much competition. Diem and Erster were definitely the standout players from Lucky Future Zenith. However, the team had a higher level of coordination amongst the players. Marve1 did not play during all through the season for the team, however, he has been a beast when it comes to individual skill. The player will not be a starting member on the roster, but a valid backup for the Seoul Dynasty tank players.

Jecse is one of the best Lucio players in the world. His movement and positioning is always at the right moment for the rest of the roster. However, he will compete in this meta for the spot against the likes of Tobi in Seoul Dynasty. Not only does Tobi have a lot more experience, but he provides more to the team than just his skills. As such it is going to be difficult for Jecse to possibly be a part of the Starting lineup at least early on.

Atlanta adds two more staff members.

The yet to be named Atlanta Overwatch league Franchise has announced the addition of two new members to its staff. Joining the Atlanta team will be Danny_OW and Dongminrocks.

Danny has been a part of the GOATS roster and is one of the main reasons for their success. He will be joining Atlanta in the capacity of a Team Analyst. At the top level, it is necessary to have an outside perspective in what is going wrong with the team. At the same time, DAnny will be crucial to finding weaknesses in their opponents and preparing the team on how to take advantage of the same. He will work closely with the coaches and other staff members to ensure a fluid preparation style for the team.

Translator and Team Manager, DongminRocks

The Atlanta team will also be hiring Dongmin as their Translator and Team manager. In the Overwatch league, having a team translator is essential since most of the teams are mixed teams. With the majority of players in the Overwatch League being of Korean origin, it is important for the management to provide translators who will help in the seamless transition of new players into the roster. Sometimes it becomes difficult to explain one’s point of view while practising and preparing strategies. Dongmin’s addition essentially confirms several Korean players on the team. We expect Atlanta to announce their roster in the next few days.
