Another Pogba Injury – Is His Career at the Top Over?

Another Pogba Injury – Is His Career at the Top Over?

French
international football star Paul Pogba recently made his first appearance this
season for Juventus, but after playing just 20 minutes, he was forced off due
to sustaining an injury.

This latest
setback must surely mean that Paul Pgba’s career at the top of men’s
professional football is over.

What happened to Paul Pogba?

Paul Pogba joined Italian Serie A side Juventus in last year’s summer transfer window after leaving English Premier League side Manchester United where he had spent six years.

He was unable to
get fit in time for the start of the new Serie A season and has taken longer
than expected to get over several injuries.

In his first
game back in what was also his first start in 390 games, he lasted just over 20
minutes, picking up another injury that saw him leave the pitch devasted and in
floods of tears.

Most people
agree that Paul Pogba’s career at the top is now surely over. The last time he
made it into the starting 11 was when he played for Manchester United in April
2022 against Liverpool.

In his latest
outing, he attempted to gain control of the ball, which saw him overstretch and
injure his thigh muscle, which meant he could no longer continue. He slowly
hobbled off the pitch.

Is it still possible to bet on Juventus or any other
Serie A games?

Yes. There is
still time to bet on Serie A games, but time is fast running out. Most teams
only have two or three games until the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

Who is Paul Pogba?

Paul Pogba was
born in Lagny-sur-Marne, France, in March 1993. The 30-year-old men’s
professional footballer is a right-footed central midfielder who has had two
spells throughout his career at Manchester United and Juventus.

His senior
career started in England with Manchester United during the 2011-12 season,
where he made just three appearances before moving to Juventus. He played  124 games between 2012-1 at Juve, scoring 28
goals across all competitions.

He then moved
back to United at the end of 2016, where he would spend the next six years,
scoring 29 goals across all competitions in 154 games. He has also played for
his country over 100 times at numerous age levels, scoring over 20 goals for
France U16, U17, U18, U19, U20, and the senior team.

His latest
injury setback looks as though his last game may have already been played, but
