Celtic and Inverness clash in the final of the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park and it’s hard to see how Ange Postecoglou’s side won’t seal the treble on Saturday.
The Bhoys were crowned Scottish Premiership champions with games to spare, they have long since wrapped up the League Cup title and Championship side Inverness have the odds stacked against them.
Many will remember Caley Thistle’s stunning shock win over the Bhoys in this competition in 2000, but it’s highly unlikely Celtic will be atrocious again 23 years later.

Celtic right-back Alistair Johnston was substituted against Aberdeen last weekend but the Canadian should be fit to return on Saturday.

Celtic are on the brink of landing a domestic treble and it’s hard to see how Inverness can stop the rampant Bhoys. Ange Postecoglou’s outfit are the outstanding side in the Scottish Premiership, and while Inverness deserve praise for reaching the final, they failed to even make an impact in the Championship this term.
Celtic are a long-way superior to their cup final rivals and this isn’t a Bhoys side that takes its foot of the gas when in a commanding position. The Hoops have won their four Scottish Cup matches this season by an aggregate scoreline of 15-1, and they have been ruthless when hammering nine goals past Dundee United, scoring six against Hibs, and five against both Kilmarnock and St Mirren in matches this season.
The Bhoys even managed to score four goals against Old Firm Rivals Rangers earlier in the campaign and it’s hard to see how Inverness can compete with that sort of quality.
Billy Dodds will be hoping his side can keep things tight and stay in the game as long as possible, but it’s likely to be relentless Celtic pressure, and if that results in an early goal, it could be a long day for Caley Thistle.
At 25/1 it may be worth a small bet on a huge 6-0 Celtic victory.
Celtic to win both halves @ 9/10
Siding with a dominant Celtic victory looks the best avenue for success on Saturday, and at 9/10, the Bhoys look good value to win both halves.
Celtic have faced Morton, St Mirren, Hearts and Rangers in the Scottish Cup this season and they have won seven of those eight halves of football.
The exception was the second period against Rangers and, clearly, Caley Thistle aren’t a side that has anywhere near the ability of the Gers.
Billy Dodds’ side did finish the season in good form, winning nine of their last 12 matches, but that run has to be considered a little flattering, given that six of those victories were single-goal margin triumphs.
Celtic should strike early and further press home their advantage as the contest progresses.
