Columbus Community Hospital extends its partnership with Altera

Columbus Community Hospital extends its partnership with Altera

Columbus Community Hospital in the US has chosen to extend its contract with Altera Digital Health for an additional seven years, thereby extending the use of the Paragon electronic health record (EHR) system.

The 50-bed hospital has been using the Paragon EHR since 2010, and will now leverage upgrade services as part of its Altera subscription to stay up-to-date with the EHR and benefit from future Paragon releases.

The extended partnership allows the hospital to continue providing quality care and improved healthcare experiences for patients, staff members, and providers.

Columbus Community Hospital president and CEO Michael Hansen said: “Columbus Community Hospital is dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalised care to every patient we serve, and having the right technology partner is essential to that commitment.

“We’ve been using Paragon for more than a decade, and we recognise the time and resources Altera has dedicated to keep making the solution even better.”

The end-to-end digital health solution Paragon has been designed for community and critical access hospitals, simplifying workflows, and enhancing financial and operational performance.

Altera Digital Health president Marcus Perez said: “Our Paragon team has achieved significant momentum, and I’m excited to see what we can accomplish with Columbus Community Care as we move forward together.”

Altera clients, including Pipeline Health and Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, have also recently extended their Paragon contracts.
