India began their U-19 World Cup title protection with a 84 runs win over Bangladesh. Defending 251 runs in their marketing campaign opener, India bowled out Bangladesh 167 in 45.5 overs.
Saumy Pandey took four wickets in a powerful show of bowling. Earlier, Adarsh Singh (76) and Uday Saharan (64) took the staff to 251/7 in 50 overs.
