It’s the second leg of the Spanish Segunda play-offs on Thursday and the tie between basque sides Alaves (23/20) and Eibar (12/5) is delicately poised at 1-1, after the weekend’s action.
The away side took the lead in the 9th minute, courtesy of Mamadou Sylla, before Stoichkov equalised for the hosts, to leave the tie on a knife edge.
The two sides finished on the exact same amount of points in the Segunda, so this was always likely to be a close affair.

Deportivo Alaves to beat SD Eibar – 23/20
Eibar entered these playoffs in dire form, winning just one of their previous 10 matches.
Alaves meanwhile, lost just one of their previous 11 games and are clearly the form team coming into this one.
Luis Garcia’s side are unbeaten in three games now against Eibar and will be confident that his side can progress through to the final, in front of the Mendizorroza massive.
