Friday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the Bundesliga II playoff, and I’ll expecting to see plenty of goals.

Arminia Bielefeld will aim to avoid successive relegations as they travel to the BRITA-Arena to take on Wehen Wiesbaden in the first leg of their 2. Bundesliga playoff, and I’m expecting goals.
Wehen Wiesbaden were the second-highest scorers in the German third tier this term, scoring 71 goals, with 37 of those coming at home. Markus Kauczinski’s hosts have found the back of the net in all bar one of their 19 league fixtures on home soil – scoring on multiple occasions in nine (47%) of them – and will look to breach a Bielefeld defence that registered a league-low two clean sheets in the 2. Bundesliga this campaign.
Uwe Koschinat’s visitors scored 50 goals in the German second-tier this term, with 22 of those coming in their travels. Die Arminen have made the net bulge in 13/17 of their league contests on the road – striking on multiple occasions in six of their previous nine – and should be capable of breaching a Wehen Wiesbaden defence that recorded only eight clean sheets across their 38 assignments in the German third tier this season.

Both Teams to Score has banked in 24/34 (71%) of Arminia Bielefeld’s 2. Bundesliga fixtures this season – and given the same has landed in 27/38 (71%) of Wehen Wiesbaden’s 3. Liga matches – I feel there’s a strong chance we’ll see both of these sides get on the scoresheet here.
