MediKarma launches AI-powered personalised health assistant

MediKarma launches AI-powered personalised health assistant

US-based healthcare technology firm MediKarma has introduced its new AI-based personalised health assistant, JILL.ai, which aims to disrupt the traditional healthcare paradigm.

JILL.ai uses generative AI technology to provide users with personalised healthcare guidance, democratise information and empower them to take control of their health.

The assistant can retrieve information from health records and devices, answer health-related questions, offer personalised recommendations, conduct symptom triage, explain insurance and financial considerations and automate health routines, among other capabilities.

By consolidating data from various sources, JILL.ai creates a profile of the user’s health and generates MediScore, a dynamic health score.

The assistant also offers MediTwin, a visual representation of the user’s ‘digital twin’ to help them understand their health and any potential risks.

Patients can then use these to discuss targeted interventions with their healthcare team.

JILL.ai has been trained on institutes such as the National Library of Medicine and the World Health Organisation (WHO).

The platform is claimed to prioritise data security and privacy, ensuring all information is stored in an encrypted, HIPAA-compliant digital enclave.

MediKarma CEO and founder Kris Narayan said: “At MediKarma, we believe that everyone deserves a personalised, accessible, and trustworthy health companion.

“With JILL.ai, we are taking a giant leap towards achieving this goal.

“By harnessing the power of AI and leveraging advanced machine learning techniques, we are making preventive care more proactive, more personalised, and more affordable.

“Our team is excited to see the impact that JILL.ai will have on the lives of our users and on the healthcare industry as a whole.”

Founded in 2021, Medikarma aims to increase patient engagement to deliver value-based care for companies in the healthcare industry.

The company’s generative AI-powered patient engagement platform is designed to empower users to access and interpret data and take action to improve their health.
