Rehabilitation Hospital of Bowie launches in Maryland, US

Alabama-based healthcare company Encompass Health has opened the Rehabilitation Hospital of Bowie in Maryland, US.

The 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital is expected to provide specialised care for patients.

It serves patients recovering from a range of conditions such as brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopaedic conditions, strokes, and neurological disorders.

The hospital offers 24-hour nursing care and a range of therapies, including physical, occupational, and speech therapies, to help patients regain their strength.

It comprises private patient rooms and a spacious therapy gym equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies.

Other amenities include a therapy courtyard, a day room and a cafeteria.

The new facility marks Encompass Health’s second inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Maryland and its 158th such hospital in the US.

Claimed to be the US’ biggest rehabilitation hospital owner and operator, Encompass Health has 158 hospitals across 37 states and Puerto Rico.
